A Plastic Viking in New York – Hawk with the Band of Outsiders
Saturday last weekend,March 24th Hawk visited New York for the first time. And friends from legendary CBGB´s and Max´s Kansas City combo Band of Outsiders had set up a gig at The Lakeside Lounge in Greenwich Village for a triplet guitar party.
Hawk had prepared almost two handfuls of Outsiders tunes and the Outsiders three tunes of Hawk´s. In the above Youtube videoclip – captured by the one and only Groovy DJ Linda Rizzo – you can see one Outsiders tune (Another Cowboy) and one Plastic Pals tune (Long and Lonely).
One thing´s for sure. This won´t be the last Plastic Pals visit to Gotham.
Thanks to guitarist James McCarthy and guitarist Marc Jeffrey Mikulich for arranging this show – and to Linda Rizzo for the video.
